mystic digi-realms is a photographic series intended for instagram that blurs the boundary between reality and fantasy. through extensive editing and collaging, the artist digitally manipulates the space around her body, placing her physical form within an intangible world. photographs of the artist are woven between whimsical images of organic elements to establish a sense of nature mysticism; while simultaneously acknowledging the digital nature of the work by framing each piece within the familiar square aspect ratio associated with “timeline” interfaced social platforms like instagram.
